delivery of a ig fxl grinding machine

A new Wallram Grindtec – Lizzini IG FXL universal grinding machine has been installed at our customer LAZZATI S.p.A. High Performance Boring Mills. This model is able to grind pieces with a maximum length of up to 1,500 mm and has a center height of 255 mm. The natural granite base, standard on IG FXL models, ensures maximum thermal stability. The machine is equipped with a star wheel head with two external spindles (power 8 kW) and an internal spindle with 17 kW and 24,000 rpm.The grinding machine is also equipped with linear motors on both axes and the Marposs axial probe MIDA. The software installed is the new touch version of the Micron® developed entirely by Lizzini Intelligent grinding®. Like all our grinding machines, this model is also set up as standard for Industry 4.0.

GRINDINGHUB EXHIBITION IN STUTTGART, 17-20/05/2022

Wallram Grindtec – Lizzini will participate to the GrindingHub 2022 fair, scheduled in Stuttgart from 17 to 20 May 2022. At the fair we will exhibit a universal IG FM grinding machine with one wheel for external grinding and one wheel for internal grinding. You can find us in Hall 10, Stand 10B36. See you there!

New IG FM grinding machine delivered

A new IG FM grinding machine is being delivered to our customer Disegna srl in Romano d’Ezzelino (VI). The IG FM model is suitable for grinding pieces up to 800 mm in length between the tips, and in this configuration it has an external grinding wheel with a diameter of 500 mm and two electrospindles for internal grinding. The kinematics of the axes are with linear technology for the X axis and ball screw for the Z axis. The base is in natural granite, to ensure maximum thermal stability. The software installed in the machine is the MICRON®touchscreen, developed internally by Lizzini. There is also an SMW Autoblok Group automatic steady rest. The measuring system for in process and post process diametrical control and axial positioning is provided by Marposs.

New IG FM grinding machine delivered

A new IG FM grinding machine is being delivered to our customer Giordani & C. s.n.c. in Cesena. The IG FM model is suitable for grinding pieces up to 800 mm in length and in this configuration it has two external grinding wheels with a diameter of 500 mm mounted in opposite positions at 0 and 180 degrees. There is also a Z3 tailstock axis sliding on preloaded roller guides with movement controlled by an A.C. motor. Brushless and a synchronous motor for dragging on the tailstock side with position control via dedicated encoder. The kinematics of the axes are with linear technology for both the X axis and the Z axis. The base is in polymer granite, to ensure maximum thermal stability. The software installed in the machine is the touchscreen MICRON®, developed internally by Lizzini. The measuring system for diametrical and axial positioning control is provided by Marposs as well as the dynamic control of the balance of the wheels Like all Lizzini grinding machines, this model is also set up as standard for industry 4.0.

New IG FXS grinding machine

A brand new IG FXS grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer Benincasa Meccanica srl located in Crespellano (BO). The IG FXS model is the most compact of our portfolio and it’s suitable for grinding parts up to 250 mm length. The bed is in natural granite, to ensure the maximum thermal stability. MICRON®, developed internally by Lizzini, is the software equipped on this grinding machine. The measuring system for diameters and axial positioning is provided by Balance Systems S.r.l. As with all Lizzini’s grinding machines, also this model is set up for Industry 4.0.

New IG FL external grinding machine delivered

A brand new IG FL grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer C&C Meccanica di Precisione located in Vaprio d’Adda (MI). This model is suitable for grinding parts up to 1.000 mm length and in this configuration is equipped with an external grinding wheel (500 mm diameter). There’s also a Z3 tailstock axis sliding on preloaded rolls guideways driven by a Brushless A.C. motor and a synchronous motor for tailstock’s side driving with a positioning control performed through a dedicated encoder. The measuring systems equipped are provided by Marposs: the axial gauge MIDA and the diameter gauge UNIMAR.

Lizzini and V.V.B. per la Vita initiative

Also this year, Lizzini – Wallram Grindtec took part to the charity campaign V.V.B. Per la Vita fostered by the newspaper Bresciaoggi. Doing so, we contribute to helping five local organizations that engage in assisting the most helpless.

New IG FS grinding machine delivered

A brand new IG FS external grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer Carpanelli Motori Elettrici SPA located in S. Giorgio di Piano (BO). The grinding machine is equipped with a synthetic granite bed, an external grinding wheel with power 8 kW and diameter 500 mm, the Marposs’ axial gauge and the automatic balancing. Furthermore, the grinding machine is equipped with a face driver, a rotating tailstock and an open rest for diameters from 10 to 80 mm. Also this grinding machine is set up for Industry 4.0.

New IG FS grinding machine delivered

A brand new IG FS external grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer Turning Tech SRL in Castelfranco Emilia (MO). This grinding machine is equipped with an external grinding wheel with 12 kW power and 600 mm diameter. The tailstock is sliding on preloaded rolls guideways. It’s driven by a brushless A.C. motor, that is directly connected to the ballscrew by means of a coupling. Furthermore, this grinding machine comes with linear encoders on both axes, Marposs’ axial and diameter gauge, automatic door opening, automatic balancing and face driver. As with all Lizzini grinding machines, this model is set up for industry 4.0.

IG FM universal grinding machine

A brand new Wallram Grindtec – Lizzini IG FM grinding machine with natural granite bed is ready to be delivered to our customer Affilomeccanica srl in Arzergrande (PD). The grinding machine is provided with a B-Axis. The wheelhead features an external grinding wheel with 500 mm diameter and an internal grinding wheel with 18 kW power, 120 mm diameter and 45.000 rpm. MICRON®, developed internally by Wallram Grindtec – Lizzini, is the software running on the machine. This grinding machine is provided with Marposs’ MIDA.

LIZZINI AT EMO 2021

It’s with great pleasure that we announce Wallram Grindtec – Lizzini’s participation at the EMO 2021 exhibition in Milan in the period 4-9 October. We’ll exhibit an external grinding machine (IG FXS) and an internal grinding machine (IG IS). We’ll be in Hall 3, Stand F22 – G21. Don’t miss it!

IG FL universal grinding machine

A brand new Wallram Grindtec – Lizzini IG FL grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer Sabaf Group in Ospitaletto (BS).
This grinding machine is provided with an automatic B-axis, with a wheel-head with three grinding wheels: two for external grinding (8 kW of power and 500 mm of diameter) and one for internal grinding with 18 kW of power, 120 mm of diameter and 45.000 rpm. The measuring systems installed in the machine are the Marposs MIDA and the Marposs UNIMAR.
While designing this grinding machine we pushed the Intelligent Grinding philosophy at the highest level. The strength of this machine lies in the automation: the 3-axis robot is controlled by the NC of the grinding machine. This robot is capable of reading the parts to grind through a QR code and of exchanging information to perform the machining.

IG FM universal grinding machine

A brand new IG FM grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our mother company Wallram Group in Essen. The most exciting news regarding this machine are the hydrostatic guides, which compared to the traditional version guarantee an excellent damping, less wear and a very low drag coefficient. Hydrostatic guides also minimize torque variations during inversion of movement, in order to ensure absolute precision in positioning and way paths and so deliver high-precision interpolation.

Lizzini IG FS external grinding machine

A brand new IG FS external grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer G.M.G. in Zola Predosa (BO). The grinding machine is provided with a synthetic granite bed, a wheel-head with one wheel for external grinding and with MICRON® software, developed internally by Lizzini. The NC is the state-of-the-art Siemens 840D SL. The grinding machine is also equipped with a Marposs axial and diameter measuring gauge for flat surfaces. As with all our models, this grinding machine is Industry 4.0 ready.

Lizzini IG IM internal grinding machine

A brand new Lizzini IG IM grinding machine has been delivered to our customer Espo in Corbetta (MI). This grinding machine is equipped with a natural granite bed, to ensure the maximum thermal stability. The software installed is MICRON, developed internally by Lizzini. This model has a centre height of 230 mm and is suitable for grinding parts up to 300 mm length.

Lizzini IG IL internal grinding machine

A brand new Lizzini IG IL internal grinding machine has been delivered to our customer Morgan Advanced Materials in Luxembourg. The grinding machine is provided with a natural granite bed, to ensure the maximum thermal stability. MICRON, developed internally by Lizzini, is the software installed on the grinding machine. The black painting shows the enormous customization’s possibilities offered by Lizzini.

Retrofitting of a Lizzini igrind machine

New Lizzini IG FL grinding machine ready for delivery

A brand new Lizzini IG FL grinding machine is ready to be delivered to our customer in Turin. This grinding machine is provided with a natural granite bed, to ensure the maximum thermal stability. The grinding wheel-head is provided with three wheels: two for external grinding and one for internal grinding, a configuration that guarantees great flexibility. Finally, this grinding machine is provided with many options: linear motors on both axes, diameter gauges, automatic self-centring chuck and a loading/unloading system integrated in the machine.

Today is a special day for us, a day that we’d like to remember and share with you. On this day is the 10th anniversary of Lizzini – Wallram Grindtec and we’re delighted to spare a thought to whom took part in our history. Lizzini’s foundation dates back to 1945, we have more than 75 years of experience in the grinding field. However, in 2011 we became part of WALLRAM Group, to which we belong with great pride.

IG FM grinding machine with linear motors and Z3 tailstock axis

The Lizzini IG FM grinding machine ensures high-level performance and it’s extremely flexible in its configuration. The machine shown in the video is equipped with linear motors, Z3 tailstock axis (stroke 400 mm) and Marposs’ Unimar measuring system with two measuring heads, suitable for the control of interrupted surfaces. The results of the tests performed, at the end of the video, confirm the capabilities of our grinding machine.

IG FM Universal Grinding Machine

The Lizzini IG FM grinding machine is extremely versatile and compact. In this configuration, the natural granite bed ensures the best thermal stability and precision. The interface of the MICRON® software is user-friendly and easy to operate.
With the loading/unloading system, the grinding machine works autonomously and the cycle time is optimized: in this way, downtime is greatly reduced.

IG IL INTERNAL GRINDING MACHINE

Discover the performance of the IG IL internal grinding machine equipped with automatic loading/unloading of the part. Provided with 3 electrospindles for internal grinding, linear motors and natural granite bed, to ensure the best thermal stability and precision.
In this configuration, it’s also present Marposs’ post-process gauge for internal diameters.

CANCELLATION OF THE GRINDTEC EXHIBITION

Since new limitations to contain the COVID-19 spreading came into force in Germany, and especially in Bavaria, the GrindTec exhibition (planned from the 10th to the 13th of November) has been cancelled.
The fair institution informs that the next edition will take place from the 15th to the 18th of March 2022.

BIMU 2020 IN MILAN

Installation of a new IG FS Grinding machine

It’s confirmed: the GrindTec exhibition will take place in November

The fair institution has confirmed that the GrindTec exhibition will take place from 10^th to 13^th November in Augsburg. During these months preceding the exhibition, will be drafted the hygiene protocol, in order to assure the maxisum safety for visitors and exhibitors. Lizzini will be one of the 670 exhibitors that confirmed their presence at the exhibition. This will be an exciting opportunity for us in order to acquire new contacts from people all around the world.

Lizzini is back to work

On the 4th of May, Lizzini has come back to work at full capacity following the forced stop enforced by the Coronavirus emergency. In compliance with the safety norms, we are ready to continue and deliver projects that were only slowed down by the medical emergency.

New date for the GrindTec exhibition 2020

The 2020 GrindTec exhibition, which should have taken place in Augsburg, from 18^th to 21^st of March, has been postponed due to the issues related to the diffusion of SARS-CoV-2, known as Coronavirus. The fair institution informs that the exhibition will take place between the 10^th and the 13^th of November.
